Rei means "Spiritual life energy."  Ki means "the vital force that flows through all living things".

Reiki is an ancient Japanese based holistic system on natural healing.  It is safe, gentle and simple; yet is still an effective technique practiced worldwide today.  Reiki is offered in healthcare centers, hospitals, doctor's offices, private practices, day spas and clinics.  Paramedics are trained in Reiki in many cities.

Our bodies are composed of energy.  Energy is within and around us.  We all have an aura, chakras (which are our main energy centers), and meridians that follow specific paths of energy within our body.  Reiki is non-invasive and utilizes the hands to balance, and clear these energy fields.

Reiki affects each person in a unique way, but always acts wherever the receiver needs it.

A Reiki Treatment:

.  The client lies fully clothed, removing shoes, watches, jewelry and metal items.

.  The average treatment lasts about one hour.

.  The client should wear comfortable clothing.

What does Reiki Do?

.  Balances the organs, glands, and their body functions.

.  Reduces pain, anxiety, and stress.  Can help with sleep disorders.

.  Treats symptoms and causes of illness.  It helps prepare the body and assist healing

   before and after surgery or medical procedures.  May ease nausea or adverse reactions

   common with chemotherapy.

.  Eliminates toxins and improves overall health.

.  Strengthens the immune system.

.  Improves harmony of body, mind and spirit promoting one's self healing while increasing creativity and intuition.

Reiki Training:  Reiki training is a powerful aid for all traditional and holistic health providers.  It amplifies all healing modalities.  Massage Therapists, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Psychotherapists, and people of all ages benefit.  During a weekend course, students will learn about Reiki's history, theory, energy and the chakra system, receive individual attunements, practice hand positions and share experiences.  After taking  First Degree Reiki you will be able to treat  people, babies, animals, plants and all living things.   Manuals and certification diplomas will be given upon completion of each Level.

Reiki Levels:

First Degree, Second Degree, Advanced Reiki Training, and Master
